Our fabrics are chosen for durability as much as beauty. Follow these simple instructions and your Paseo pieces will outlast the size — and be ready to pass on.
Natural fabrics. Nothing else.
GOTS certified. Grown without pesticides. Softer than conventional cotton and gets better with every wash.
Our summer pieces use a linen-cotton blend. Breathable, cool, and impossibly elegant. Yes, it will wrinkle. That's the point.
Coconut wood and corozo. Never plastic. Remove before washing or place the garment in a mesh laundry bag.
Simple rules. Long life.
Wash at 30°C
Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C. Cold water preserves colour and prevents shrinkage. No hot washes — ever.
No tumble dryer
Lay flat or hang to dry. The dryer is the enemy of natural fabrics. It shrinks, pills, and weakens fibres over time.
Iron on reverse
For smocked pieces, always iron on the reverse side. Use a damp cloth and a medium heat setting. Never iron directly on embroidery.
Store carefully
Fold (don't hang) knitwear and smocked pieces to avoid stretching. Cedar blocks instead of mothballs — your future child will thank you.

All Paseo pieces are washed before they leave Barcelona. They arrive soft and ready to wear immediately — no pre-washing needed before first use.
